BELFAST
I joined a trip with Paddywagon to Giant Causeway, depart at 8:30am. While waiting, I took the photo of the students who are on their ways to school and the metro bus i took yesterday. The trip is a guided tour, but i cant really catch what the driver is saying cause i'm not used to their pronounciation. I sitted on the left, the row behind the driver, later, i found i had choosed the wrong sit. as the scenary is either a street away from me or on the right. what i get is just sunshine. The sun follows me to and fro. So, not much nice picture i had got. The first station of our trip is Londonderry, which is a small town, the only fully walled city ever found in England now. i walk on the wall. it is just like the wall in daugavpils, it is at least 5 meters wide, you can walk on it. The building behind me is a guildhall(civic and cultural center for Londonderry). The next photo is carrick a rede ropebridge. it is hanged between two land about the sea. but what attrack me the most here is a group of birds swarmed on the surface of sea. i cant see what they are doing there but there is definitely no land under them, they are on the sea(may be catching fish), and they can continuously stay there for a long time. i found it marvelous, but because of my poor camera, i cant really zoom in to take their photo. Sorry for that. i will change my camera one day. It can only take nice photo with sufficient day light, cant set timer(so i never get everybody in the photo), zooming is very limitted, when the weather is cold, battery exhausted in a very short time.... Sorry, start complaining. Haha.
Actually, before Carrick a rede ropebridge, we went to the Giant Causeway first. The most interesting figure there is the rock are naturally in hexagon shape. wonderful right?? Only God can made this. According to Bro Lawrence, some stone look like musical organ,eg. organ pipes, and etc., giant boot, granny, and ... but because the time given to us is just an hour and the journey i take to the beach is about 25 minutes, so i didnt look for those things. Sorry. Next time, please dont take Paddywagon, choose other company. We reached Belfast again around 6pm.
8:30pm we have home meeting in Bro Patrick's house. He prepared dinner for us. A brother says, you have to know everything. right after you come back from job, you are the one who prepare food, then rush out to pick people to the meeting, then you shepherd them, then you
send them home, then you do all the cleaning. Yes, i can fully understand how he feel. we all experienced this when we served. and the only encouragement is always His smile, nothing more. Of course, sometime when you see people growing in the Lord, you feel happy, but their situation will always fractuated. So, in the process, the Lord is training us to be like Him, a root out of dry ground. Ok, that night, the home meeting is very enjoyable. The saints pick the hymns themself, and they sing from one hymns to another, non stop. they enjoy it so much. Especially sis Olu, she pray back the hymn to the Lord, and we converse with the Lord by using the hymns. then, we have a little bit of sharing on the word. Sis Olu says, Lord is making us Him. So, we need to be open to Him, let Him constitute us. That's why we have His life and nature, so that He can come into us and give us more of Himself. We cant overflow if the Christ in us is not abundant. So, we must be filled with Him abundantly. Praise the Lord!
From right in the picture is Sis Olu and Bro Patrick from Nigeria, Bro Lawrence from Malaysia, Bro Bob from canada and Sis Annie, local. What a sweet fellowship in the body. later, there is a contact Susan who attended theological school before joined us. She says, i feel that to be a Christian shouldnt be a matter just of religion. it should be about a living person. That's why i'm seeking. May the Lord preserved her that her eyes may be opened to see the revelation if this wonderful Christ and all His riches in the church. Amen.
